The rains had ceased, all life on earth to slay,
But flower’s tears, the wrath of heaven, stayed,
And tore the sky, horizon to the sun,
To loose accumulation drawn away
From lake and ocean, scintillating sum
Of all withheld from judgement. Fell and swayed
The droplets, dancing, free, to reunite
With love, desire, earthen maiden’s hum,
Her sound of soul, in grasp, united tight.
Yet how much longer, people patient for respite?
