Missing (Spenserian Stanza VI)
Through synagogues and towns and villages
Does run the form of searching child’s feet;
Amidst his sopping, dirty diligence,
The legwork expedited indiscrete
By passion like a teeming wood replete
With creatures from all vantages, pursuit
Of food and drink, necessities compete.
The same path forge his soul, press on, en route,
Not knowing he could never reach attainment, moot.
